Its been awhile

Whats everybody, Its me, Domino, blogging again. Sorry for the lapse. but i figured that it would be easier for me as well as you the reader, if i didnt blog every day. The work week takes alot out of me and the weekend i tend to stay busy. A lot has happened since i last wrote. The weekend has come and gone. Had a pretty good weekend. It was eventfull and entertaining. Saturday sucked a little. friday started tax season, so my company decided to start making us work every saturday till 1 p.m. Nobody came in, which made for a really slow couple of hours. But i suffered through it and finished it. The night before , i took steph to knoxville to get a phone. She got a motorola droid. this phone is awesome. It blows blackberry away. When i can upgrade, i will be purchasing one. Over this weekend, we saw two movies. " The book of Eli " and " Sherlock Holmes ". Both were really good movies. Slow but good. I recommend them to go see. Both main actors did a really good job and i could see them winning awrds for the portrayals of the characters they played. It rained sunday, which made me want to be lazy, but i wasnt and life went on . lol. Not much else really happened. i think for the most part...... I live a drama free life. Does it mean im boring. NO. Just means im careful, not stupid and dont put up with a bunch of crap. On a lighter note. My friend Chris txt me earlier today and said that " He was gonna be a dad". Im happy for him, but deep inside im hurt, jealous and upset. All the trying and not trying is really starting to wear on me. Why am i rushing fatherhood. I dont know. I feel im ready and i think it would benefit my marriage and make it stronger. Not having a dad in my life has made me want to up the ante, and be a better dad than mine was. Well its late and my pillow is calling. Until next time.

So much happening.

Whats up everyone, Domino here, lets get busy. Today was a really long day. But now as it comes to an end, I sit here writing this and pause to reflect on whats going on around us. In my world, at least whats up with me, goes like this. I wake up, go to work, and I currently am not enjoying my work. But what i realize is, that ive got it made compared to other people. Just a little over 24 hours ago, a devastating earthquake happened in Haiti. Thousands are dead and feared that more are on the way. Feeling like i do, I wish i could aid the relief efforts, but such is life and im needed here. My heart goes out to that part of the world. My prayers go to all that are directly affected by this tragedy. I laugh when i see the people that live here around me, would rather bitch and moan about a stupid college footbal coach than worry about a nation suffering from a tragic turmoil. I say this to those few...... "People, get over it. that is petty. Wake up and smell reality. These people need our help, support and prayers. Lets give it to them!" Also tonight, the FD ( fire dept. ) had its monthly business meeting. Its good to see all the members get together and discuss the prior month. The group of men and women that i respond with are a great group of people. Our dept is truly a unified brotherhood. Now i sit here thinking about the week ahead and im looking forward to the weekend. Well tomorrow is friday. getting paid and possibly getting new phones for me and steph ( motorola droid ) Off to bed. Untill next time...

sick in more ways than one

Greeting everyone, Domino coming to you once again, to tell you about my day. Where do i begin. I woke up this morning, getting ready for work as i usually do, when in the shower it hit me. I not only recieved the violent poop, but vomiting and stomach cramps to boot. NO, I'm not pregnant. just sick. Is it a normal sickness or that of a hate for something such as work or things that continually make me mad. I'm finding it harder to focus when i need focus the most. So, i stayed home and slept it off. Not that i care, so more big news came out of Knoxville today. The head coach for the TN Vols ( college football ) stepped down and took another job with USC, after only being the head coach for one year. It has and will be the top story for awhile, for at least a couple of days and quite frankly, I could care less. Was it wrong........ yes, but thats just me. So for all that care and are disappointed. This ones for you ----->
Well on a lighter side the funny parts of american idol started tonight. Hopefully talent and the right winner will prevail this season. Off to bed i go, Gotta get better and go to work tomorrow.So until next time.

I hate being sick

Hello everyone. Not gonna be your normal post tonight. For those who follow me, Sorry for not posting a blog for Saturday. Ive been sick with a sinus infection. So my weekend hasn't been as productive, as they usually are. For the most part, i have spent the weekend sleeping and relaxing in bed watching tv. And for our fire dept, it was also a crazy weekend. Two house fires in a 24 hr time frame. Both houses a total loss. But the good thing was no lives were lost. Losing property is one thing. Loss of life is another. My thoughts and prayers go out to both families. I would also like to apologize for the mix-up on my project365, but i have explained why. Work starts back up again tomorrow. So off to bed i go. Its finally Friday!

Whats up everyone. Domino once again, coming to you, blogging. I am truly amazed at myself. I really thought i wouldn't have continued the blogging. But i have kept up with it. Also, if your also keeping up with my project365, you can check it out here. Well last night was a doozy. The snow storm wasnt as bad as hoped for, but it did cause lots of wrecks and a few house fires, that did make for a long night and morning. I still had to work today. And as usual, work was boring and slow, due to the lingering weather. The cool thing about today was that the weather, and that we got sent home early again. It was good to actually get home at a decent time and it still be light eoutside. Me and the wife went and ate at the local 50's diner and rented a few movies. We plan on going into knoxville tomorrow and do are normal shopping routine. So i better go rest up. Until next time..........

Its finally

Snow, snow, snow..........

Hey all. Domino here once again. Today, something happened. It snowed. I started the day as usual at work. As the day progressed on, so did the weather. So bad, that our work was closed for the day, and i went home. For most of the rest of the day, i spent it relaxing and enjoying, not dealing with angry customers. Seein the snow, brought back memories of when i was a kid, playing in it, growing up, living at my grandmothers house, playing in the street with my aunt. Fun times. Well.... 7 days down, 358 to go. How am I doing so far. I hope I'm entertaining. Until next time....

New changes.

Today, i'm gonna fore-go the intro. I just wonder if anyone out there reads this. But like i said, i am doing this for me. Today was very interesting. My company held a quarterly managers meeting today, in Monteagle, TN........ just outside of chattanooga. Driving there today, I saw some of GOD'S true country. Mountians, mountians, and more mountians. No technology. No big city distractions. Just life living without it. Sure the iternet is nice, but give me a tent and a sleeping bag and i'll do just fine. But enough about that. Where was I? Oh yeah, meeting. It went well, being my first as a new manager. It was one of those "getting right with jesus speeches". Where the role of Jesus is played by the state director, the district supervisor, and the company president and founder. The only sad thing about today was, I actually lost my supervisor that promoted me. I was given a new one. Hope he's a good one as well. The place we had it was ok, but i hope the next one, is asomewhere else. I actually got home at a decent hour. Had dinner with the wife and watched Drew barrymore's directoral debut " Whip it ". For being a low budget film, it was pretty good. Well, its gettin late. So until next time.......

Monday......Blah!

Whats up everyone, Domino the weirdo king, coming to you live again to write to you about my day. What is there possibly to say about today........... It was Monday, nuff said! Tommorrow is the big quarterly meeting. I'm a little nervous, but i will survive. Other than that.... that sums up my day pretty much. Work kept me till 8pm, drive home took 45 minutes ( throw in a time change by crossing from central to eastern time ) it was dang near 10 when i got home. So needless to say, I'm TIRED!!!!!! The weekend cometh to an end.

Whats up everyone, Domino the weirdo king. Coming too you live from my blog once again. Well today was Sunday. I was sad to see it come and as I'm writing this, realizing that its almost over. Today was a slow and relaxing day. Not much happened and it was rather nice. And as usual, while i was out shopping ( which Friggen Ben says i do too much of ) at wal-mart, i took my third installment picture for my project 365. My comment on my post made me wonder. so you be the judge. I have to say, Last nights journey of my youtube making experience, was one i hope to not repeat, now that i know how to do it. But its done! All that matters. Also tonight, Llama80 took to the airwaves again. After a few hiccups, we were live and had a decent show. "The Burl" and Dr.A joined us for a bit and fun times were had. Like the end of this day closes, so must my writing. Along work week is ahead and being the first of the month, its never pretty. The company is making changes and meetings have been planned for this week. Wish me luck, Im off to dreamland. Until next time.......

Exploring new things

Whats up everyone, Domino the weirdo king coming to you again, for yet another blog entry. I actually think I am getting this whole blog thing down. I actually thought that I would have quit by now, but I'm still going strong. Today was a very productive, but relaxing day. Spent the day with my wife and mother-in-law. Took her to Knoxville, went to this french store, called Target. While we were there, stopped at Starbucks. The coffee was good and hit the spot. We ate at this little mexican spot called " Border Taco ". It was good. Cheap, but good. After we got home, i sat and worked on a video, that I will be loading up on youtube. The loading process is taking a while, but i hope to have it done shortly. The 365 project is done as well. To see todays entry, just click here.
As I'm writing this, I'm watching " The Hangover ". This has probably got to be, one of the most funniest movies, that i've seen, in a really long time. Well, I got only one more day of my weekend left, then its back to a full work week. Gonna go and finish watching the movie and hit the hay!

Out with the old, in with the new!

Whats up everyone, its Domino again coming to you from this blog, once again. Well 2010 is here and what a day it was. The sun was shining. the air was cold but tolerable, and i was spending the day with my wife. After staying up late last night, I slept in and it felt good. We went to knoxville to spend the day shopping and running errands. We ate at a place called Brixx. Its this italian pizza place and beer joint. I wasn't impressed. But i suffered through it. We shopped the mall and went to Mckays. And as usual, i drooled at Bestbuy. Throughout the day, I twittered as usual and as some of the people i followed, were discussing a new project, I decided to try one as well. Project 365 is a concept of taking one pic, everyday, for a whole year. You can check mine out here . As i'm writing this, i feel good. I've never set goals or a new years resolution before. So saying this, as my readers as my witness. This blog and my 365 project is my goal. By doing this i feel like i wont forget and it will help me express myself. all comments are appreciated and i hope im entertaining enough to help you fall asleep at night. Until next time......
